Soggiitoast is a handmade jewellery brand based in the South West of England, founded by an independent artist with a passion for industrial, ethereal design and creative self-expression. 

I was born in Japan, and raised in Canada, later moving to the UK where I reside now ! I am half-Chinese, and half-British, having lots of different exposure to different inspirations and people which I would like to share with everyone :)

I picked up jewellery making in 2023; being in university gave me lots of time to myself, and a desire to explore my creative outlets. I acquired an interest in keychains and unique necklaces, and taught myself how to create and bring these ideas to life.

Chainmail is a slow, thoughtful, and valuable art form, with each piece made by hand, linking one ring at a time. A single necklace alone has 300-500 jump rings, carefully linked together with pliers and precision. Each piece’s durability and tarnish resistance makes chainmail jewellery a lasting investment, made to grow with you over time.

I personally love unique pieces of jewellery, especially when you can tell someone has put their soul into designing and hand-crafting it. I had often found it difficult to find jewellery that really spoke to me. When I started to create my own, it helped to cultivate my self-expression and figure out what really resonated with me. 

Hand-making each piece is such a unique and pleasant experience, especially when I get to see people love, appreciate, and support Soggiitoast, it genuinely means so much to me.

Soggiitoast is run by one person- me ! Everything from designing and crafting each item in my bedroom using pliers, links, and beads, to taking photos and designing business and backing cards is done by me. I take meticulous care to pack every order individually and thoughtfully, so thank you for your patience, kindness, and support!
